Initial requirements and selection criteria
With the release of its new Severa 3 product, Severa Corporation (nowadays Visma Severa) wanted to provide its clients with a manual in English. Severa was already well aware that technical documentation requires time, expertise and human resources. Faced with a challenging and intensive product development schedule, Severa decided to outsource the content production of its technical documentation.
When choosing a partner for this task, Severa’s main selection criteria were expertise, experience with similar solutions, a firm grasp of the English language, and the ability to complete the project within the demanding time frame. Implementation

The work itself was done using software specifically designed for the documentation needs of small and medium-sized enterprises. Multidoc also ensured that Severa was kept apprised of the project’s progress at all stages. Despite the challenging schedule, the documentation process went smoothly under professional guidance. After Severa’s technical review, the English manual was proofread by a Multidoc native-English language specialist and the finalised Severa 3 documentation was ready for release.
